Interactive Parent Workshop with Donna Shea

Posted by Joanna on May 9, 2019

As parents, you are well aware of the ways in which your child will benefit from an excellent education. Your child’s future success, however, will also be determined by his or her social and emotional intelligence.

Donna Shea, founder of the Peter Pan Center for Social and Emotional Growth, will be presenting a workshop at ASM that will help you to understand and support your child’s social and emotional health. Donna will address the A+ child, defined as those who may be anxious, angry, awkward or active. As a parent of two A+ children, Donna understands the stress of helping these children to manage their feelings and behaviors.

ility to relate to others positively, have empathy, control impulsive behavior, be self-aware and self-regulate will have a tremendous impact on the adult your child ultimately becomes. Join me on Friday, May 17 to learn more about strategies to support your child’s social and emotional intelligence.
