A Visionary Educational Philosophy

Our students are excited to come to school each day and are enthusiastic learners! ASM’s core curriculum is true to the visionary educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, and is individualized for each student. Click here to visit the American Montessori Society website and learn more about Maria Montessori. Complemented by contemporary programs, designed in conjunction with strategic partners including Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Boston’s Museum of Science, students are prepared to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world.

Collaborate, Create, and Solve

Students engage in project-based work, allowing them to collaborate, create, and solve real-world problems. On-going assessments, in a multitude of formats, provide meaningful feedback that informs their work. ASM students are given opportunities to practice skills that develop perseverance, independence and leadership.

Powerful, Proven Principles

These Montessori tenets differentiate us from other independent and traditional schools. At ASM, we are committed to applying these powerful, proven principles, every day, in every classroom. Along with our mission, these principles guide us in our effort to provide the best learning environment for our students.
